clubhse.jpg (62548 bytes)Welcome to the Grand Blanc Huntsman's Club, featuring skeet, trap, five-stand and Michigan's first complete sporting clays facility.

Located on 80 rolling acres in rural Atlas Township, the Grand Blanc Huntsman's Club offers the most comprehensive shooting sports facility in the area.  As a site for both informal shooting and serious competition, the club offers a friendly atmosphere in a pleasant setting.

Organized in 1957, the club has steadily grown to serve the needs and desires of its membership.  Southeast of Grand Blanc, the club is easily accessible and only a short drive from anywhere in Genesee, Lapeer, or northern Oakland County.  The club facilities offer some unique shooting opportunities, especially for the avid shotgunner.

Affiliations

The Grand Blanc Huntsman's Club is affiliated with the National Rifle Association, the Michigan United Conservation Clubs, the National Skeet Shooting Association, the Michigan Skeet Association, the National Sporting Clays Association, and the Michigan Sporting Clays Association.

Community Involvement

We, the membership of the Grand Blanc Huntsman's Club, feel that all responsible sportsmen and women have an obligation to promote and protect our shooting and hunting traditions for ourselves, our children, and for future generations.  To that end, we sponsor an annual Hunter Safety Program.

A high point each year is the Flint Olympian Games and the CANUSA Games.  The club is host to the skeet program.  While not part of the official program, the annual inter-club shoot between the Grand Blanc and Hamilton, Ontario clubs has become a highly contested event with the winner securing bragging rights for the year.

Membership

The Grand Blanc Huntsman's Club is a non-profit organization.  The facilities are open to its membership and their guests.  Annual memberships are available upon approval of the club board and membership without concern for race, creed, gender or religious belief.  If you would like to become a member, contact a current member or inquire at the desk in the clubhouse.  You can download a membership application in Microsoft Word format by clicking here.  Print it, fill it in, bring it to the club and have a member sign it as your sponsor.  (If you don't have MS-Word, get a free viewer by clicking here.)
